Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a Depot Team Leader for our Brookvale Depot in New South Wales. This full-time role involves running daily operations, supporting a hands-on team, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

You will lead by example, help customers with returns, and keep the site safe, clean and efficient. A people-focused, energetic individual is ideal for sustaining our planet-friendly mission.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a team of staff.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
• Experience in cleaning or maintenance operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations at the Brookvale Depot and coordinate the team.
• Guide and motivate staff to deliver a great customer experience.
• Coach team members, resolve issues on the floor, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Be the reliable on-shift focal point for both customers and colleagues.

Job Description

Step up and lead the crew at our Brookvale Depot!

Ready to take the next step and lead from the front? If you enjoy being hands-on, supporting a team and keeping things running smoothly, this could be the role for you.

As our Depot Team Leader, you’ll be right in the action running day-to-day operations while guiding your team to deliver a great customer experience. You’ll lead by example, helping customers with the Return and Earn machines, jumping in to support the team on busy days, and making sure the site stays clean, safe and running like clockwork.

You’ll be the go-to person on shift, keeping the team motivated, organised and on track. Whether it’s coaching team members, solving problems on the spot or making sure everyone is set up for success, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive, high-energy work environment.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership and be that friendly, reliable face both customers and team members can count on. If you enjoy leading people, staying active and being part of something that supports your local community and the environment, you’ll fit right in.

• Full- time role working across 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day per week.
• Federal police check, pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks are part of the background process for employment.

Qualifications

About you:

• Previous experience in a people leadership role
• Good knowledge of Microsoft apps and general IT skills
• Cleaning or maintenance experience
• High level of communication (verbal and written)
