Tomra is hiring a Christmas Casual Recycling Centre Attendant across our Perth depots. You will welcome customers, assist with recycling containers, operate reverse vending machines and help maintain a clean, safe site.

This casual role runs November 2026 to February 2027 with varying weekday/weekend shifts at Kelmscott and Myaree. Candidates should enjoy active work, have customer service experience, be safety-minded and physically fit, with a passion for recycling and the environment.

Formación

As a Christmas Casual, you'll play an important role in keeping our depot running smoothly during our busiest time of year. You'll welcome customers, assist them with recycling their containers, help them use our reverse vending machines, and create a positive experience every time they visit. You'll also help maintain a clean, safe, and well‑presented site for both customers and your teammates.

We're looking for people who enjoy helping others, can work confidently on their own, and bring a positive attitude to the team. If you like being on your feet, enjoy connecting with your local community, and want to contribute to a cleaner environment, you'll fit right in at TOMRA.

Christmas Casual Details

• Commencement date from November 2026 until Early Feb 2027
• You must have full availability between those dates
• As a casual, you will be expected to work a mixture of weekdays and weekends, including morning/afternoon shifts & public holidays
• Hours available across our sites in: Kelmscott and Myaree
• Pay rate for adults is paid at Level 2 Waste Management Award, base $30.75 + 25% casual loading / relevant penalty rates for weekends
• Federal police check, pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks are part of the background process for employment.
• Have a passion for recycling and the environment
• Have a keen eye for detail and a motivation to maintain a clean work environment
• Be a safety champion, everyone deserves to return home safely!
• Have experience in face-to-face customer service
• Be physically fit, some manual lifting will be required
