Job summary

TOMRA is hiring a Recycling Centre Attendant as a Christmas Casual across our Perth depots. You will welcome customers, assist them with recycling their containers, help them use our reverse vending machines, and ensure a positive experience at every visit.

Commencing November 2026 through early February 2027, you must be available for a mix of weekdays, weekends and public holidays. The role focuses on safety, cleanliness, and friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

• As a Christmas Casual, you'll play an important role in keeping our depot running smoothly during our busiest time of year. You'll welcome customers, assist them with recycling their containers, help them use our reverse vending machines, and create a positive experience every time they visit. You'll also help maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented site for both customers and your teammates.

Christmas Casual Details

• Commencement date from November 2026 until Early Feb 2027
• You must have full availability between those dates
• As a casual, you will be expected to work a mixture of weekdays and weekends, including morning/afternoon shifts & public holidays
• Hours available across our sites in: Belmont, Osborne Park, Joondalup, Myaree and Kelmscott
• Pay rate for adults is paid at Level 2 Waste Management Award, base $30.75 + 25% casual loading / relevant penalty rates for weekends
• Federal police check, pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks are part of the background process for employment.

To be a successful Recycling Centre Attendant you will

• Have a passion for recycling and the environment
• Have a keen eye for detail and a motivation to maintain a clean work environment
• Be a safety champion, everyone deserves to return home safely!
• Have experience in face-to-face customer service
• Be physically fit, some manual lifting will be required
