Applied Medical Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to partner with hiring managers and deliver end-to-end recruitment for Field and Internal roles across the region. You will drive role scoping, advertising, screening, interviews, and offer preparation while shaping a candidate experience aligned with our culture.

You will attract candidates through diverse sourcing, maintain confidentiality, and provide credible advice to leaders on people decisions.

We are seeking a motivated and driven Recruitment Specialist (internally known as Team Member Relations Specialist) to support the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for Field and Internal roles across Applied Medical in Australia and New Zealand. You will have a passion for identifying new team members who align with our culture.

About the Role:

As a Recruitment Specialist (Team Member Relations Specialist), you will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers to deliver effective recruitment outcomes. Coordinate and support end-to-end recruitment activities, including role scoping, advertising, direct contacting potential applicants through unique platforms and approaches, applicant screening, interview coordination, interviews, reference checking and offer preparation. You will have the ability to think outside the box, be creative, find solutions and collaborate as well as excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across all levels as well as a strong ability to select to our culture and values.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a high-quality, professional and consistent recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers and internal stakeholders, while ensuring alignment with Applied Medical values.
• Attracting potential team members through advertising/ direct contact/ referrals or unique sources.
• Support fair, objective and values-aligned selection decisions through structured recruitment practices.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity and discretion when handling sensitive candidate and team member information.
• In addition to attraction, recruitment and selection activities you may be asked to support the leadership team with accurate, high quality and timely advice in consultation with the TMR team, support team member well-being, engagement and retention programs and events and a variety of TMR projects in line with the company’s TMR strategic and operational needs.

• Ability to actively seek out new potential candidates through alternative sources, confidence to detail the organisation and culture and attract the right team members to the mission.
• A confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships.

• Strong teamwork skills with the capacity to work collaboratively across functions.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Previous experience recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources.
• Relevant experience within Life Sciences, medical devices, or a comparable professional environment, including territory or stakeholder management valued.
• Tertiary qualifications are valued but not essential.
• High level of computer literacy.
