Job summary

Yancoal Australia is recruiting a Recruitment Officer to join our HR team at Moolarben. The role will focus on attracting and securing talent across our operation, coordinating end-to-end recruitment and providing excellent candidate and hiring manager support.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage advertising, screening, interviews and onboarding materials, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to brand building.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, HR or administration.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SuccessFactors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising, screening, interviews and candidate communications.
• Partner with hiring managers to support workforce planning and recruitment needs.
• Prepare employment documentation, contracts, offers and onboarding materials.
• Manage pre-employment requirements and onboarding processes.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

MCO is seeking applications for a newly created Recruitment Officer role. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to join our HR team and play a key role in attracting and securing talent across our operation.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Recruitment Officer will coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, provide exceptional candidate and hiring manager support, and contribute to building a positive employment brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and candidate communications.
• Partner with hiring managers to support workforce planning and recruitment needs.
• Prepare employment documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials
• Manage pre-employment requirements and onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate recruitment and HR records and reporting.
• Support talent attraction initiatives and continuous improvement of recruitment processes.

Skills and Experience

• Is a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage competing priorities.
• Has excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Has previous experience in recruitment, HR, administration, or a related field.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems, with SuccessFactors experience highly regarded.
• Is passionate about delivering a positive candidate experience.
