Carejobz Perioperative Specialists in Bundaberg invites an experienced Recovery/PACU RN to join a modern regional day surgery. This role offers either full-time or part-time hours, with predictable rosters and supportive teamwork in a busy surgical environment.

You will provide evidence-based recovery care across two theatres and a dedicated procedure room, maintain high standards of patient safety, and contribute to continuous improvement while building strong relationships with patients and

Qualifications

• Experience in Recovery/PACU nursing within a surgical hospital setting.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based care, monitoring patient wellbeing and providing safe, high-quality treatment at each stage of the hospital stay.
• Prepare the facility, equipment and clinical environment for safe, efficient surgery.
• Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress and respond promptly to changes or complications.
• Provide clear education, guidance and reassurance so patients feel confident managing their recovery after discharge.
• Supervise and support colleagues on shift, fostering confidence, teamwork and safe practice.
• Promote continuous improvement, safety and excellence across the hospital.
