Job summary

Metro North Health in Queensland is seeking a permanent full-time Occupational Therapist - Mental Health Clinician to deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions within a multidisciplinary mental health team. You will support consumers, families and carers to achieve recovery-focused outcomes through trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, recovery-focused occupational therapy services within a supportive multidisciplinary mental health team.
• Work with consumers experiencing complex mental health challenges, helping them build independence, wellbeing and participation in everyday life.
• Provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions that make a meaningful difference to consumer outcomes.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with families, carers and community partners to support integrated, person-centred recovery journeys.
• Contribute your expertise to care planning, clinical decision-making and service improvement initiatives that enhance mental health care delivery.
• Grow your clinical knowledge and leadership skills through supervision, professional development, research, and opportunities to support students and emerging clinicians.
