Job summary

Abano Healthcare Group is hiring a friendly, organised Dental Receptionist to join our teams across Alstonville Family Dental and Maven Dental Lismore. The role is shared between two practices with stable, consistent hours of 2–3 days per week.

You’ll welcome patients, manage appointments, answer calls, process payments and health fund claims, and support the dental team with admin tasks. A great opportunity to start or grow in dentistry.

Qualifications

• Has previous reception or customer service experience.
• Is friendly, approachable and confident communicating with patients.
• Is organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
• Has a professional and positive attitude.

Job Description

As our Dental Receptionist, you’ll be an important part of the patient experience, helping create a warm and welcoming environment from the moment patients walk through the door.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and providing friendly customer service
• Managing patient bookings and appointments
• Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
• Processing payments and health fund claims
• Supporting the dental team with general administrative tasks
• Helping ensure the reception area runs smoothly and efficiently
