Job summary

Atlassian’s Confluence Whiteboards team in Melbourne is seeking a P40 Full Stack Software Engineer. You will design and maintain features across client and backend services, focusing on real-time collaboration and deep Atlassian integrations to help teams visualize ideas as Jira work items and Confluence content.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers, write clean, well-tested code, and contribute to operational excellence while participating in Agile rituals.

Qualifications

• Experience building high-performance full-stack features for web apps.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and engineers to translate user needs into visuals.
• Experience with real-time multiplayer performance and canvas interactions.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build, ship, and maintain reliable, high-performance features across the full stack for Confluence Whiteboards.
• Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and engineers to turn user needs into intuitive visual experiences.
• Work on real-time multiplayer performance and integrations with Jira/Confluence.
