Job summary

TMGM is seeking a Data Analyst to transform high-velocity data into clear financial insights that inform trading strategies. You will work with real-time data pipelines built on Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ClickHouse to ensure accurate P&L reporting and actionable trading analytics.

Position sits at the intersection of engineering and finance, requiring strong technical and analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of financial markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, CS or related quantitative field.
• Experience in finance/fintech with trading data or instruments.
• Advanced SQL skills; experience with OLAP databases.
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience with data visualization tools for real-time data.
• Ability to clearly present technical findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with data governance and accuracy focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated real-time PnL reporting frameworks.
• Perform deep-dive trading analytics to identify execution patterns and market impact.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries for large financial datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs for trading desks.
• Monitor data quality and governance across the pipeline for compliance.
• Create Python data processing scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
• Design data models and schemas to support high-frequency reporting.
