Job summary

A leading real estate investment firm in Sydney is seeking an experienced Investment Associate to manage a diversified fund spanning hotels, residential, office, and logistics. The role involves hands-on investment management focused on joint ventures with development partners, portfolio management, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of experience in real estate investment and strong financial modelling skills.

Qualifications

3–6 years’ experience in real estate investment, development, or funds management.
Strong understanding of development project risks (planning, delivery, cost, sales, market).
Financial modelling and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Commercially sharp, able to challenge assumptions and drive outcomes.
Confident communicator who can build trust with JV partners and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day portfolio management of joint venture developments.
Oversight of project reporting, financial models, and feasibility analysis.
Identification and mitigation of development risks across planning, construction, and delivery.
Close collaboration with external development partners, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Active involvement in investment reviews, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
