Job summary

Milestones Kids Therapy Hub is seeking an experienced paediatric speech pathologist for a sustainable role with a balanced caseload and supportive team.

You will work across clinic, preschools and schools with flexible, hybrid duties and protected time for notes, planning and report writing. The role includes a $1,000 yearly CPD allowance and a clear path to leadership as the clinic grows.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

You're capable. You know that. But the caseloads are relentless, the admin bleeds into your evenings, and the supervision you were promised in the interview hasn't quite materialised. You're not sure if you've chosen the wrong clinic, or if this is just what speech pathology looks like.

At Milestones Kids Therapy Hub, we've built the kind of practice we wished we could have joined at your stage. Paediatric, neurodiversity-affirming, and genuinely focused on making sure the people who work here actually thrive here.

What your role actually looks like & what sets it apart

25 client-facing hours per week (full-time), not 30+. We protect your time, so your caseload stays sustainable.

15 minutes protected after every session for note writing and planning, on top of your own time for report writing, resource creation and learning.

$1,000 yearly CPD allowance to explore your own areas of interest, plus regular team PD (recent example: a team OMT session that turned into a genuine passion area for one of our SPs).

Autonomy over your day: bunch client sessions together with dedicated paperwork blocks if that suits you better, or spread your caseload out. Your call.

Genuine, ad hoc flexibility: finish clinical work early one afternoon, head home and do your non-face-to-face work from there.

A varied paediatric caseload spanning speech sound disorders, language, stuttering, AAC, and social communication. You'll work alongside our occupational therapists and collaborate on complex cases. No two days are the same, and you'll have real input into the clients you take on as you settle in.

Fortnightly supervision, paced to your experience. For clinicians with 2+ years, this means clinical and professional support without being micromanaged.

The money, clearly

Base salary starts at $90,000 inclusive of super (depending on experience). Our performance rewards are transparent: you'll know exactly what milestones unlock what level of pay, and $120,000+ is genuinely achievable. We'll walk you through the whole structure in your interview so there are no surprises.
