Job summary

Tamworth Regional Council is seeking an Information and Readers Services Librarian to provide information and reader’s services, and to support community access to library resources. The role offers opportunities to advance your library career within a dynamic team, including coordinating author talks, book groups, and LIAC services, with travel across the CNRL region as part of the role.

Salary range: $78,039.52 - $84,442.88 per annum plus 12% superannuation for a 35 hour work week.

Qualifications

• 4-year Degree, or Degree and Post Graduate qualification in Information Management or Librarianship as recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
• Driver Licence
• WWCC (Working with Children Check) clearance

Responsibilities

• Library information and reader’s services
• LIAC (legal information service)
• Staff training in information and readers services
• HSC programs and study sessions
• Coordinating author talks and bookgroups

Education
