Job summary

Vmoves Fleet Solutions in the UK is seeking a self-employed Car & Van Trade Plate Inspector Driver to inspect and deliver vehicles across assignments planned by our logistics team.

You set your own schedule, earn by the job, and receive weekly payments through our self-billing system. Training and support are provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

This role suits drivers who value independence, are comfortable with overnight stays, and can pass a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence with max 6 penalty points and no DR/CD/DD/TT99 endorsements.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to pass a DBS check.
• Willingness to work overnights and flexible with schedule.
• Professional conduct and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable using public transport between jobs and walking short distances.
• Vehicle inspection experience is advantageous though training is provided.

Car & Van Trade Plate Driver / Vehicle Collection & Delivery (Self-Employed)

We require Inspector Drivers to appraise and deliver a variety of vehicles across the UK. Our experienced planning team will plan and offer you assignments, based on your previous delivery location, availability and licence type and we publish target moves and route plans before you accept, so you know how your day pays.

We operate within DVLA trade-plate rules (roadworthy & valid MOT) and set clear customer-service expectations. Safety and compliance first and require individuals with a can-do professional attitude, patience, an eye for detail and a true understanding of what customer service is.

Requirements?

• A full driving licence (Max 6 penalty points & with no DR/CD/DD/TT99 endorsement codes)

• Comfortable using public transport between jobs and walking 1-3 miles as needed

Every day is different at Vmoves - new vehicles, new routes, and new people to meet. But here’s a glimpse into what a week in the life of a trade plate inspector driver might look like:

Monday:

• Starting your week, you will make independent travel arrangements to your first collection.
• You will Inspect the vehicle. Recording the vehicle condition and images on our inspection app.
• Once you’ve delivered that vehicle, you’ll head to your next assignment and/or depending what time it is, stay overnight near the next day’s vehicle collection location. This could be at home or a hotel.
