Job summary

PSS group is a nationwide Soft Facilities Services provider delivering cleaning and related services to major retail, entertainment and facilities management clients. The role focuses on on-site cleaning to predefined specifications, while maintaining health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate should be willing to work overtime, follow instructions, be polite and professional, and eager to learn. Training is provided, with weekend availability if required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work overtime to cover staff sickness & holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail.
• Polite, professional demeanor and good self-presentation.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to training.
• Flexible and reliable; willing to do overtime & weekends if required.
• Experience preferred but full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor.
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.

Cleaning Operative Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
