Choices Healthcare’s Ipswich branch is recruiting care assistants to support clients in the community. Shifts run 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm. A full driving license with a car is needed, mileage is paid, and free training is provided.

Rate of pay is £13/h for drivers with own vehicle and £12.71/h for non-drivers. DBS checks are required. 20 hours weekly; sponsorship/visa transfer not offered. We offer flexible development in a supportive team.

Choices Healthcare is an established health and social care organisation that supplies a variety of healthcare staff to the NHS, various local authorities, and private clients alike. In addition, we provide supported living accommodations and both internal and external healthcare training. We currently operate across Southeast England with scope for expansion.

Our Ipswich branch is currently looking for care assistants to join us in providing high-quality care within the community. Work shifts within the community tend to be morning and lunches 7am-2pm and teas and beds from 4pm-10pm. Candidates must have a full driver's license with own car, as this role will be primarily based out in the community. Mileage contribution is offered.

Your responsibility as a Carer is to provide a service of care to clients to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible. This care service will involve a program of personal care and household management that is personalized for each client in the form of a Service User Care Plan. Care duties will therefore include assisting the client and observing and respecting the client’s dignity, privacy, and choice and promoting independence.
