Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Porter for our school site in Croydon, CR2. The role is 20 hours per week, term-time only, 9:30am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Pay is £14.80 per hour with benefits including free meals on duty and pension participation.

You will help with general kitchen duties, operate the dishwasher, manage deliveries and stock, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene while working as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
• Capable of maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in a busy kitchen.

What you will be doing:

• Helping with general kitchen duties
• Using the dishwasher and carrying out pot washing and dish cleaning
• Putting deliveries away with good stock practice
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
• Completing all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team
• Speaking to each customer and team member in a friendly, helpful and professional manner

The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
