Salary: £33,262 - £36,027 per annum inclusive of outer London HCAS

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and NMC-registered Nursing Associate to join our Merton Adult Community Mental Health Teams.

Working with adults aged 18-65 experiencing mental health difficulties, you will provide person-centred care and support both in clinic settings and within the community. You will play a key role in promoting physical health and wellbeing, supporting recovery, reducing health inequalities and helping service users achieve their individual goals.

A significant part of the role involves supporting the delivery of our Clozapine and Depot Clinics, including physical health monitoring, CMA monitoring, health promotion and medication-related care. Applicants should have relevant experience or transferable skills and be willing to develop knowledge in the safe management of Clozapine and antipsychotic medications.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, build positive therapeutic relationships, contribute to care planning and risk management, and uphold the values of compassionate, recovery-focused care.

This is a Monday to Friday role, working 9am to 5pm, offering an excellent work-life balance with no shift work, weekends or nights.

The Nursing Associate contributes to the health and wellbeing of patients and service users and applies across all health and care settings. The Nursing Associate will deliver high quality, personalized, safe, compassionate care in the best interest of people. The Nursing Associate is equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours across the fields of nursing, providing holistic care and support for people of all ages in a variety of settings.

The Nursing Associate works independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing. The Nursing Associate recognises and works within limits of their competence. The Nursing Associate works to a nationally recognized code of conduct and is registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
