West Northamptonshire Council is recruiting for a Community, Care & Support Worker (Reablement Service) to help people remain independent in their own homes. The role is based in Northampton with 31.5 hours per week across a 4-on/4-off cycle, including mornings and evenings and weekend/bank holidays.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. You will provide personal care, administer medications, support daily living activities, and foster independence and dignity within

Qualifikationen

• Some previous care experience (not necessarily extensive).
• A caring and compassionate approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
• Previous care training or Health & Social Care qualification would be advantageous but not essential; full training and ongoing support will be provided.
• Valid UK right to work that remains in place until at least 31 March 2027 (sponsorship not offered).
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• Availability to work the outlined shift pattern.
• Ability to commence employment and attend induction training from mid-November 2026.
