Job summary

Quality People is urgently seeking a Rates & Revenue Manager for a 3 months+ contract on the Capricorn Coast, Queensland. You will provide specialist technical advice, lead the Revenue team, and maintain key financial controls.

Role supports strategic financial planning and continuous improvement initiatives, with preference for Local Government debt recovery experience and strong Treasury accounting background.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Proficiency with Infor Pathway system.
• Experience with TechnologyOne.
• Experience with Local Government Debt Recovery.
• Strong background in Revenue and Treasury accounting.

Job description

Our client URGENTLY requires a Rates & Revenue Manager for a 3 months+ Contract on the Capricorn Coast, Queensland.

The Rates & Revenue Managerwill provide specialist technical advice, lead, and manage the Revenue team, maintain key financial controls, support strategic financial planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience required includes:

• Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with the Infor Pathway system.
• Operationally competent and self-sufficient in using TechnologyOne.
• Experience with Local Government Debt Recovery and Collaboration with an external provider.
• Strong background in Revenue and Treasury accounting is highly regarded.

Prior Local Government experience would be highly advantageous.
