Qualifications

• Demonstrated high level knowledge of the Victorian curriculum and ability to integrate literacy and numeracy across learning areas.
• Ability to plan and implement high impact teaching strategies and evaluate learning growth.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor student progress and use data to inform feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, colleagues and broader school community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
