Job summary

Swissport International AG in Australia is seeking Ramp Service Agents and Baggage Handlers to support airport operations on the tarmac. You will load and unload baggage and cargo, assist with aircraft pushback, and uphold safety as a core value.

Expect a 7-day roster with early mornings and weekends, and physical duties including lifting up to 32kg and assisting with sorting baggage. Training and uniforms are provided, with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including early mornings and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 32kg and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills are desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Australian citizen/resident with unlimited work rights, 18+.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload aircraft baggage and cargo efficiently.
• Safely transfer luggage to and from aircraft.
• Handle baggage up to 35kg repetitively in varying weather and confined spaces.
• Collaborate with team to maintain smooth operations on the tarmac.
• Assist with aircraft pushback and cabin cleaning as required.
• Manage baggage flow for departing and arriving flights using sorting equipment.
