Job summary

Swissport is seeking Ramp Service Agents and Baggage Handlers to support on-airport operations on the tarmac, sorting, loading and unloading baggage and cargo while providing cabin cleaning as needed. Work is variable and safety-focused, including early mornings, late shifts and weekend rotations to align with airline timetables, with emphasis on teamwork and efficient, careful handling of luggage.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 32 kg repeatedly.
• Flexible to work a 7-day roster incl. early mornings, weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Australian citizen/resident with work rights.
• Own transportation with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload aircraft baggage efficiently.
• Safely transfer luggage to and from aircraft.
• Handle baggage up to 35kg repeatedly.
• Operate in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Collaborate to maintain smooth operations across sorting, loading, unloading.
• Manage baggage flow for departures and arrivals using sorting equipment.
