Job summary

Transport for NSW and Sydney Trains seek an Infrastructure Worker - Line Worker/Rail Traction to construct and renew overhead traction power networks across NSW. You will join a skilled team, travel as needed and work in a busy, safety-focused rail environment.

Based at Clyde with opportunities to work on projects from metropolitan Sydney to regional NSW, you will use your lineworker experience to deliver high-quality rail infrastructure safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• Experience with overhead electrical infrastructure in construction or maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong safety awareness and practical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Construct, renew and upgrade overhead traction power networks.
• Work on 1500V DC traction systems and high/low voltage lines.
• Travel across Sydney Trains network and regional NSW as required.
• Operate safely in a 24/7 rail environment, including night shifts.
• Collaborate with experienced teams to deliver projects.
