Job summary

Pacific National, Australia’s largest private rail freight operator, is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Terminal Operators for opportunities in the Enfield and Clyde NSW terminals. You will be involved in safe movement, marshalling and inspection of trains, coordinating terminal operations, and reporting to the Supervisor.

A 24/7 rotating roster and valid Class C licence are required, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and delivering reliable freight services across

Qualifications

• Experience as a Terminal Operator.
• Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Current Class C Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Customer-focused mindset and service delivery.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform shunting and train examination duties for arrivals, departures and preparation.
• Inspect trains and equipment during operations.
• Safely coordinate train movements within the terminal environment.
• Operate Pacific National motor vehicles as required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, security and operational compliance.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure freight is moved safely and efficiently.
