Pacific National, Australia’s largest private rail freight operator, invites expressions of interest for experienced Terminal Operators at our Enfield and Clyde NSW sites. You will contribute to safe, efficient movement and preparation of trains within busy terminal operations.

Ideal candidates bring prior Terminal Operator experience, a strong safety mindset, a current Class C driver\'s licence, and readiness to work a 24/7 rotating roster in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Terminal Operator
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Current Class C Driver's Licence
• Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
• Customer-focused mindset and commitment to service delivery
• Good mechanical aptitude
• High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Perform shunting and train examination duties associated with the arrival, departure and preparation of trains
• Conduct inspections of trains and equipment during train operations
• Safely coordinate train movements within the terminal environment
• Operate Pacific National motor vehicles as required
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, security and operational compliance
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure freight is moved safely and efficiently
