Job summary

V/Line is seeking a Structures Rail Labourer to support maintenance and renewal projects across the Victorian Rail Network under the supervision of the Asset Management team.

You will carry out tasks relating to track, civil structures and bridges, including replacement or renewal of bridges, culverts, and platforms, with after-hours emergency availability. A valid Victorian driver's license is essential; other tickets are desirable.

Qualifications

• Valid Victorian Driver’s license.
• Heavy Rigid Driver’s Licence (desirable).
• Excavator and plant tickets (desirable).
• Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space (desirable).
• Welding or steelwork tickets (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Participate in replacement/renewal of bridges, culverts, signals structures, signage, platforms and other structures.
• Ability to respond to emergencies after hours as required.
• Complete reports, timesheets, requisitions and related forms.
• Availability to work away from home across Victoria.
