Job summary

Wabtec Australia seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead an electrical team across signaling installation projects from Northside Brisbane to Beerwah, QLD. You will ensure design compliance, safety, and timely delivery within standards.

You will collaborate with engineers and project staff, possess rail signaling qualification, strong organizational skills, and a valid white/blue card, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Electrical / Electrical Mechanic License
Certificate IV in Rail Signaling
Substantial experience supervising in the railway industry
Competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite
Construction White/Blue Card
Rail Industry workers card
Clean Driver’s License
Practical & organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Promote and ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management systems are implemented and adhered to
Supervise an electrical team to carry out installation works as per design & specifications
Support in the developing, implementation and monitoring of progress of construction plans in respect of time, cost and quality
Monitor construction work for compliance with engineering design specifications, client standards and statutory regulations
Develop individual and team competence
Conduct Toolbox and Safe Talks
Installation and maintenance of railway signalling equipment including Signals, Train stops, Point Machines, Track Circuits, Level Crossings and other wayside items.
