Journey Beyond is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Rail team on a 2 year fixed term contract. You will deliver safe, compliant and cost-effective project outcomes for rolling stock and equipment, while improving asset performance and governance.

Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting will be essential to success. You will develop scopes, plans and risk mitigation, build cross-functional relationships, manage contractors and uphold the highest safety standards in a dynamic rail

Qualifications

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Proven track record in project management.
Strong stakeholder engagement, planning and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, compliant and cost effective project outcomes for rolling stock and equipment.
Develop and maintain project scopes, plans and risk mitigation strategies with monitoring of performance.
Build collaborative relationships with operational leaders, maintenance teams, engineers and suppliers.
Manage contractors and ensure clear communication of expectations and deliverables.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure industry standard compliance.
Conduct risk assessments and maintain accurate project documentation.
