Job summary

Alstom in Sydney is seeking a Project Contract Manager to drive contract and claims strategies for complex rail digital systems projects. You will partner with project leaders and stakeholders to manage commercial risk, variations, and EOTs while ensuring robust governance and documentation.

You will influence multi-disciplinary teams across the project lifecycle and lead negotiations to protect commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in contract and claims management within complex projects.
• Strong ability to manage commercial risk and governance practices.
• Proven track record in negotiations and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert commercial guidance across contract management, claims, variations, EOTs, and risk mitigation.
• Lead contract and claims strategies to support project delivery and protect commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate with project leaders and suppliers to proactively manage risk and maximise contractual opportunities.
• Identify, assess and manage contractual and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure strong contract governance, documentation, and record-keeping.
