Qualifications

• Degree in engineering to meet TAO engineering requirements.
• Willing to travel locally and interstate on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and administer overall job planning and programming for construction projects for approval by the Project Manager.
• Demonstrate financial management skills including reducing costs and meeting budgets.
• Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Construction Manager or Project Manager.
• Arrange and oversee the letting of tenders.
• Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
• Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
• Undertake safety, environment and quality risk assessments to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes.
• Manage and support the development of Site Engineers reporting into you.
• Demonstrate people management skills by managing work and performance of teams and subcontractors.
• On-site construction support for OHW/OCS activities.
• Development of quality and construction requirements for on-site OHW/OCS work.
