Job summary

Hyundai Rotem Australia is seeking an experienced Material Supervisor to join our Torbanlea facility in Queensland. This role oversees warehouse, inventory and internal logistics to ensure materials are received, stored and distributed efficiently to support production.

You will manage cycle counts, ERP systems (SAP), supervise warehouse staff, monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing and suppliers. A current forklift licence and relevant warehousing qualifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehousing, inventory or supply chain operations.
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to supervise staff.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Current Forklift Licence.
• Stacker truck and EWP licences highly regarded.
• Certificate IV in Logistics / Warehousing advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage and distribution of materials to support production requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits and ERP systems (SAP).
• Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate daily logistics activities.
• Monitor stock levels and support purchasing and materials planning.
• Liaise with suppliers and resolve delivery or invoicing discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Support QA/QC teams with management of non-conforming materials.
