Job summary

V/Line Gisborne is seeking a Services Officer in a permanent part-time capacity. You will deliver excellent customer service, sell Myki and tickets, assist passengers and make platform announcements while upholding safety at the station.

The role operates on a 24/7 roster, may require travel to nearby stations within 80 km, and previous rail/transport experience is valued. A Year 10 education and Victorian Driver Licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in rail or transport is ideal.
• Experience in hospitality, retail or service roles is acceptable.
• Strong focus on safety and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service to customers and maintain safety on and around the rail.
• Sell Myki and V/Line tickets; provide passenger assistance and announcements.
• Keep the station clean, safe and inviting; assist during service disruptions.
• Coordinate replacement bus services when required and support train departures.
