Job summary

V/Line is seeking a Services Officer in Gisborne for an ongoing part-time role on a 24/7 roster. duties include selling Myki and tickets, passenger assistance, and platform announcements while keeping the station clean, safe and inviting.

Experience in rail/transport or customer-facing roles is valued. Willingness to travel to other Gisborne line stations within 80 km of home. Remuneration includes $45 p/hr, super, and free Myki.

Qualifications

• A true customer service professional, punctual, reliable and energetic.
• Strong communication skills, able to handle varying situations with calmness.
• Commitment to workplace safety and passenger experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service to customers and ticket sales at the station.
• Maintain safety on and around the station and assist during service disruptions.
• Coordinate replacement bus services and support efficient train departures.
