Job summary

Castlereagh Imaging at Hawkesbury Hospital, Windsor NSW, is seeking a Wardsperson/Technical Assistant for a casual role with weekend shifts and occasional weekday relief. You will support patient transport, assist with mobility, and help radiology staff during emergencies in a busy hospital setting.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining privacy, and contributing to an efficient radiology workflow within a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as autonomously.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide a cleared Working with Children check and police check.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with technical and nursing staff to facilitate patient transport between wards and the radiology department.
• Assist technical staff with sliding patients and assisting patients with less mobility.
• Consistently deliver high-quality service and care to patients.
• Assist technical staff in patient emergencies within the radiology department.
• General administrative duties within the radiology department.
