Job summary

Qscan Group is seeking a Clinical Assistant for our Southport site on a permanent part-time basis, supporting radiology departments and patient care. Availability on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday is required, with a focus on accuracy, privacy and teamwork.

You will work within a medical imaging team, handling image processing, blood results, and patient support while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards. Training is provided for IV cannulation and radiology software use.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Imaging industry is highly regarded.
• IV cannulation desirable, however training can be provided.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to clinical departments and imaging service providers.
• Process medical images and obtain blood results; assist patients with appointments.
• Maintain cleanliness of clinic facilities and imaging equipment.
• Handle infectious waste/sharps according to policy.
