South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) invites applications for a permanent full-time Radiographer Manager in the Hybrid Theatre Section at Prince of Wales Hospital. The role leads clinical operations, staff allocation, and equipment management within the Hybrid Theatre Imaging Service.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent.
• Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence to operate radiation apparatus and registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing highly complex and fast-paced sections, specifically Hybrid Theatre and theatre imaging in a tertiary teaching hospital.
• High level knowledge and clinical proficiency in complex imaging procedures, including Hybrid Theatre and theatre imaging.
• Ability to participate in a shift roster, overtime and on-call duty as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to train and supervise radiographers in Hybrid Theatre and other sections to which they may be rostered.
• High initiative and independence in problem solving.
• Experience and participation in development and implementation of Hybrid Theatre and theatre imaging protocols and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical and operational leadership to ensure safe, high-quality Hybrid Theatre imaging services.
• Manage clinical operations, staff allocation, equipment and resources; ensure WHS compliance.
• Supervise, coach and mentor radiographers; support professional development and succession planning.

Radiographer - Hybrid Theatre Section Manager, Prince of Wales Hospital
Applications are invited for a permanent full-time Level 4 Grade 1 Hybrid Theatre Section Manager Radiographer position at the Prince of Wales Hospital Medical Imaging Department.
Successful applicants will be responsible for the Hybrid theatre service operations and coordination in the Acute Services Operating Suites of the Prince of Wales Hospital.
Applicants should possess experience in advanced Hybrid imaging techniques. They should also have a strong knowledge of vascular and interventional imaging and have demonstrated experience in training and evaluation of radiographers in a clinical environment.

The Role
The Radiographer Manager, Hybrid Theatre Section, provides senior clinical and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality and efficient Hybrid Theatre imaging services at Prince of Wales Hospital. The role is responsible for managing clinical operations, staff allocation, equipment and resources, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies and work health and safety requirements.
The Radiographer Manager performs complex Hybrid Theatre imaging independently, provides leadership within multidisciplinary teams, and drives service improvement, research, innovation and the implementation of contemporary imaging practices. The role also supervises, coaches and mentors radiographers, supports professional development and succession planning, manages equipment performance and maintenance, and fosters collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to optimise patient care and service outcomes.
Where You'll be Working
Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Service is a Level 6 Tertiary Referral Hospital with an inpatient bed base of 370. Each year we care for more than 70,000 patients in our Emergency Department and have around 50,000 admissions to the inpatient units. POWH offers an outpatient service and rural outreach service and provides more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care each year, including innovative virtual models of care. We have transitioned the majority of inpatient units and wards to the Acute Services Building (ASB) including a state of the art Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Selection Criteria
