Job summary

Hunter Imaging in Tamworth is seeking a Radiographer to join our Tamworth team. This role offers exposure to ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, bone densitometry, X-ray and CT in a busy, modern practice with on-site radiologists and ongoing professional development.

New graduates are welcome. You will gain hands-on experience across modalities, work with highly skilled professionals, receive mentoring, and have the opportunity to advance toward MRI training within your first 12 months.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and NSW EPA licence.
• Strong general X-Ray skills are essential; CT experience highly regarded.
• Experience with ultrasound and MRI training a plus.

About the Role

Due to internal movement, we have an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to join our Tamworth team.

This position offers exposure to a diverse range of modalities within a busy and modern practice, including:

• Ultrasound & Vascular Ultrasound
• Bone Mineral Density (BMD)

Strong general X-Ray skills are essential, and CT experience will be highly regarded. Experience in Mammography, BMD or MRI is advantageous but not essential.

Looking to build a career in MRI? We are committed to supporting the successful candidate to commence MRI training within their first 12 months, providing hands‑on experience, mentorship and ongoing professional development.
