Job summary

Niddrie X-ray, Sunbury Radiology & The Radiology Suite is seeking a qualified radiographer (full-time/part-time) to join a small, family-operated practice. Work across three sites (Niddrie, Sunbury, Keilor Downs) with opportunities for specialist modality training in X-ray, OPG, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.

The role emphasizes collaborative teamwork, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional development, with flexible scheduling across sites and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered medical radiation practitioner with AHPRA credentialing.
• Competence in general radiography and radiographic procedures.
• Experience with CT imaging preferred but not essential.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

We are a small, family-operated radiology practice seeking to expand our team by offering a full-time / part-time position for a qualified radiographer. The successful applicant will join a supportive and professional working environment that values collaboration, clinical excellence, and ongoing development.

The role offers opportunities for professional growth through specialist modality training and exposure to a wide range of complex and clinically diverse medical imaging examinations. Our practice provides comprehensive services across multiple modalities, including general X-ray, OPG, computed tomography (CT), MRI and ultrasound.

The Role

This full-time/ Part time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment, with exposure to a broad range of imaging examinations and complex cases. The role involves flexible working across our three sites in Niddrie, Sunbury & Keilor Downs.

Modalities include:

• General X-ray
• OPG
• Computed Tomography (CT)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with clinical protocols and professional standards
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a compassionate and professional approach
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and workplace health and safety requirements
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, referrers, and other healthcare professionals
• Contribute positively to a supportive team culture

Selection Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Radiography)
• Demonstrated clinical competence across general radiography (experience in additional modalities highly regarded)
• CT experience is preferred but not essential for this role
