Job summary

Gibraltar Radiology in Bowral is hiring permanent radiographers, part-time or full-time, with a flexible pattern from one to five days a week. We offer five weeks leave, paid CPD and CPD leave, and training on our new GE CT and MRI systems.

You will work with two radiologists on site and report to the Chief Radiographer. We value proactive learners, a strong patient-focused approach, and a collaborative team environment in the Southern Highlands.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as Medical Radiation Practitioner (diagnostic radiography).
• NSW EPA radiation licence or eligible to obtain one.
• Current CPR; IV cannulation, or willing to learn.
• NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
• Interested in learning CT and/or MRI; existing CT or MRI experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography procedures and image acquisition.
• Report to Chief Radiographer and work with radiology team.
• Learn CT and MRI with the new GE scanners; training provided.
• Agree on a regular pattern (1–5 days/week) and manage workloads.

Job description

Currently Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. 5 weeks annual leave, paid CPD and CPD leave. Brand-new GE CT and MRI, and the training to use them.

ABOUT US

Gibraltar Radiology is an independent practice in Bowral, in the NSW Southern Highlands. Its two radiologists own it and work on site. Our brand-new rooms at 113 Bowral St have a GE Revolution Apex CT (one of the market's leading cardiac CT scanners) and a new GE MRI scanner, plus Fuji general X-ray and GE ultrasound, on Sectra PACS and Karisma RIS.

Our case mix is complex CT and MRI, including specialist MRI, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI, plus image-guided procedures. We are a small, collaborative team with no hierarchy: you will work directly with approachable radiologists and have real input into our protocols and workflows.

THE ROLE

We are hiring permanent radiographers, part-time or full-time: anything from one to five days a week, with 5 weeks of annual leave a year (above the award, pro rata for part-time) plus paid CPD and CPD leave. Tell us what suits you, and we will agree a regular pattern with you.

There is no gatekeeping here. If you want to learn CT or MRI, including cardiac and specialist work, we will train you on our new GE scanners. If you already do CT or MRI, even better. You will report to our Chief Radiographer.

ABOUT YOU

AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (diagnostic radiography), with no conditions that would prevent you doing the role

NSW EPA radiation licence (or eligible to obtain one)

Interested in learning CT and/or MRI; existing CT or MRI experience highly regarded

Current CPR; IV cannulation, or willing to learn

NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check
