Job summary

Coxons Group Australia is seeking a motivated Trade Assistant / Workshop Assistant to support the radiators and heat exchangers team in Paget, Mackay. You’ll help strip, clean, test, sandblast and photograph components, and assist trade personnel while following safety and quality standards.

Shifts run 6:00am–2:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00am–12:30pm Friday, with a tight-knit team, ongoing skill development, and competitive pay in a safety‑mocussed workshop.

Qualifications

• Mechanically minded with hands-on aptitude and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain organised work practices.
• Good written and verbal communication and physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Strip, clean, and test radiators and cooling components.
• Sandblast and buff radiator tubes and assist trade personnel.
• Photograph components and complete job documentation.
• Conduct preliminary quality inspections and ensure safety standards.
