Role Summary

There is the opportunity for a full time radiation therapist to join our Cancer Care Griffith team. You will be part of a rapidly growing and developing service, working in a collaborative team environment with the primary purpose to provide high quality radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery services. All staff are rotated through simulation, planning and treatment ensuring skills development and professional progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy across simulation/planning and treatment delivery.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience across the work area.
  • Support a high-performance culture that delivers excellence in patient care services and team development.
  • Be part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven technical skills in radiation therapy treatment delivery with demonstrated experience in planning in a range of radiotherapy techniques.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills that inspire the trust and confidence required to build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services including awareness of ACHS national quality standards.
  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong patient focus where the patient is at the centre of every decision.
  • Highly enthusiastic, motivated, and quick to adapt in a supportive environment.
  • Current AHPRA radiation therapist registration.
  • Current NSW Radiation Use Licence.
