Job summary

GenesisCare Rockhampton is seeking Radiation Therapists for 4, 8 or 12‑week placements to join a friendly, supportive clinical team. You’ll deliver high‑quality radiation therapy and gain exposure to DIBH and SABR techniques while working with Elekta linacs and Siemens CT.

Accommodation, return flights and car hire are provided for the duration of the contract, with a living away from home allowance. Ideal for someone between roles or exploring regional Queensland who wants a short‑term,

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Radiation Therapy.
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
• Strong clinical and technical skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatment and patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical and technical competence appropriate to your level of experience.
• Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists and local clinical and support teams, including Head and Neck Specialists from Brisbane.
• Collaborate with First Nation Health professionals, Cancer Care Coordinators, and Specialist Prostate and Breast Nurses.
• Contribute to a positive, safe and supportive team environment.
• Gain experience across a diverse caseload and specialist treatment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatment and patient care
• Demonstrate clinical and technical competence appropriate to your level of experience

• Patient load is around 60 patients per day, across two machines
