GenesisCare in Cairns, Queensland is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to deliver safe, high-quality treatment and support patient care. Join a multidisciplinary team and utilise Varian linacs alongside AlignRT, ARIA/Eclipse, MIM and MOSAIQ systems.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Radiation Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Sound knowledge of radiation therapy techniques, planning and QA processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients.
• Undertake radiation therapy duties with safe and accurate delivery.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Physicists and the team for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure QA compliance.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement and development of clinical services.
• Share knowledge with junior Radiation Therapists and graduates.

Benefits Of Joining Our Team

• $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS ($5,000 on commencement and $5,000 on successful completion of probation) OR fully funded visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

More Specifically, You Will

• Deliver safe, high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients, ensuring a positive and supportive experience throughout their care.


• Undertake radiation therapy duties, ensuring safe and accurate delivery in accordance with established clinical protocols and procedures.


• Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.


• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.


• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of clinical services.


• Share your knowledge and experience with junior Radiation Therapists and graduates, contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• A recognised qualification in Radiation Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.


• A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist, delivering radiation therapy treatments.


• Sound knowledge of radiation therapy treatment techniques, planning and quality assurance processes.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centred approach.


• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.


• A commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety and continuous professional development.
