Job summary

GenesisCare in Adelaide invites Radiation Therapists to join our team across Flinders Private Hospital and the Tennyson Centre. We have both Full Time and Part Time opportunities available, with the Part Time role working 3 days per week.

You will undertake radiation therapy planning, pre-treatment and treatment duties within a multi-disciplinary team. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy, current AHPRA registration and an Australian Radiation Use Licence.

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy is required.
• Registration with AHPRA is required.
• Australian Radiation Use Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake radiation therapy planning, pre-treatment and treatment duties.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the centre and across the practice.
• Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and documentation.

As a Radiation Therapist, you will report directly to the Unit Leader and play an important role in delivering high quality care to our patients. More specifically, you will: Personally undertake radiation therapy planning, pre-treatment and treatment responsibilities and associated duties. Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice. Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures. Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner. We're looking for someone who has: Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques. Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment. Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services. Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy. Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
