Job summary

SDI Limited in Bayswater, Australia, is seeking an R&D Scientist to develop new products and troubleshoot existing formulations at their on-site headquarters. Reporting to the Chief R&D Officer, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance while maintaining rigorous documentation.

The right candidate will hold a science or engineering degree and bring strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Strong problem solving and time management abilities.
• Experience in GMP/GLP environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Formulate products according to design specs.
• Conduct general product and performance testing for robustness and claims compliance.
• Prepare reports for new product development and supporting evidence.
• Manage projects to meet timelines; communicate status to managers.
• Maintain detailed experimental records and share technical information with teams.
• Develop/process validation protocols and reports when required.
• Perform risk assessment for product-related changes and initiate deviations as needed.
