Job summary

Breezway in Brisbane is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join its R&D team at the manufacturing facility. Reporting to the R&D Manager, you will contribute to concept development, prototype creation, testing, validation and production implementation of innovative Louvre Window products.

You will collaborate with an Industrial Designer, develop practical engineering solutions, and support compliance with Australian Standards while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on in product development with ability to drive concepts to production.
• CAD experience with SolidWorks and strong technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development of new products from concept through to production.
• Create and evaluate prototypes to validate design performance.
• Conduct testing to ensure compliance with Australian standards.
