Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Group is seeking a Quarry Manager for the Moama Sand operation in New South Wales, Australia. You will lead a small team, operate and supervise mobile plant and processing activities, and ensure safe, efficient production.

You will manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, and support sales growth through customer relationships. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong safety culture, and a commitment to regulatory compliance in a heavy industrial environment.

• Experience leading quarry/mining operations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, KPIs and financial performance.
• Strong commitment to safety, environment and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small, high-performing team with a safety-first culture.
• Operate mobile plant and supervise processing operations as required.
• Manage production, maintenance, logistics and site planning.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts and P&L accountability for the quarry.
• Build and maintain customer, contractor and regulator relationships.
• Identify sales leads and support business growth with Territory Sales Manager.
• Drive operational efficiencies while maintaining product quality and service.
• Promote Zero Harm through active risk management and leadership.
