Job summary

Boral Quarries in Teven, NSW, is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our maintenance team. You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot and repair crushing, screening and batching equipment, and help maximise plant efficiency while minimising downtime.

Reporting to the Team Leader/Supervisor, you will complete preventative maintenance, manage spare parts stock, document activities, and comply with OH&S procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with crushing and screening equipment preferred.
• Experience and understanding of pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
• Motivated self-starter who is results-oriented and driven to succeed.
• Works in a professional manner with a 'Can do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in line with OH&S procedures and legislation.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and assist in continual improvement.
• Assist in maintaining the mechanical maintenance spare parts stock.
• Fault find, modify and maintain crushing, screening and batching equipment across various plants.
• Strip and rebuild components to the original specifications and performance.
• Complete documentation to ensure plant data remains current.
• Overtime may be required to supplement the maintenance effort.
