Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline or equivalent research experience.
• Experience with nanofabrication for nanophotonic structures.

• Experience performing biological assays is desirable.
• Strong research output and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Contribute independently or with a team to enhance research outcomes.
• Conduct research and enable scholarly output recognised by peers.
• Undertake projects under guidance of a research leader.
• Disseminate research outcomes through appropriate channels.
• Undertake discipline-appropriate research activities and reviews.
• Present at conferences/workshops as required.
• Supervise research students where required.
• Develop instrumentation for nanoscale optical trapping with quantum sensing.
• Use cleanroom techniques to fabricate nano-structured photonic devices.
• Perform assays to quantify magnetic responses of optically trapped objects.
